Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Select the working head that best matches the desired loc thickness.
  2. Separate a small, controlled section of clean and detangled hair.
  3. Place the hair into the working opening without pulling a large amount of hair through at once.
  4. Start at a lower speed. Levels 12–15 are recommended while learning how the machine responds to the hair.
  5. Move the machine gradually back and forth along the section to help form and tighten the loc.
  6. Stop frequently to inspect the hair and adjust your speed or section size when necessary.

Important Safety Information

  • This is a professional electric styling tool. Training and practice are strongly recommended before use on a client.
  • Begin at a low speed and test the machine on loose practice hair first.
