The Reorder Sample Test: How to Request Loc Extensions That Match Your Preferences

Your first order helps you discover what you like about a product—and what you might prefer differently next time.

Perhaps you like the overall style but want thinner locs, a looser finish or a longer curly section. A reorder sample test helps you explain those details clearly before placing another order.

Keep a Reference from Your Current Order

Save the product name, order number and selected specifications. If possible, keep one unused extension as a reference.

Photograph the whole strand and take close-ups of the attachment area, loc shaft and ends. Use a ruler when showing length or thickness.

Tell the supplier whether your reference has been washed, installed or otherwise altered, since its appearance may have changed.

Separate What You Like from What You Want Changed

Start with a short list.

For example:

“Keep the same color and overall length. Make the locs slightly thinner and extend the curly section.”

This is more useful than saying that the hair should look “more natural,” which can mean different things to different people.

Compare These Details

Loc Tightness

Would you prefer a tighter, more compact loc or a looser finish?

Describe the desired construction rather than asking for more or less tension on your scalp.

Thickness

Would you like the loc shaft thicker or thinner?

Share the current diameter and the measurement you would prefer. Photograph the same part of each strand when comparing samples.

Curls and Ends

Would you like more or fewer curls? Should the curled section be longer or shorter?

Specify whether you want to keep the same overall length. A longer curly section and a longer extension are different requests.

Fullness and Texture

Explain whether you want more volume, less volume, a fluffier surface or a more compact appearance.

If you are requesting a change to weight or quantity, list that separately from the visual texture.

Use a Simple Message Template

“My previous order number is ____. Please keep ____. For my next order, I would like ____. My preferred measurements are ____. I have attached reference photos.”

Ask the supplier to confirm which changes are available, along with pricing and production time, before paying for the next order.

Approve a Sample When Needed

For a substantial change or a larger wholesale order, discuss whether a sample is appropriate.

Compare it with your written requirements and confirm the agreed specifications. Keep the approved sample and photos as a reference for future orders.

Contact CAVORA Hair through WhatsApp or email to discuss your next order and the details you would like us to adjust.
